The sheepfold, opened in 2018 by King Willem-Alexander, is located about 500 meters from the Veenloopcentrum. This can be reached via the Historical Path that runs from the Veenloopcentrum to the sheepfold.<\/p>\n
It is the largest sheepfold in the Netherlands for about 1000 sheep. There is also a cattle shed for 110 cattle. Restaurant Wollegras is located near the sheepfold, where you can enjoy a delicious meal with a view of the sheepfold and the Bargerveen.<\/p>\n
